Vertigo Treatment

At North Shore Wellness, our physiotherapists and chiropractors are trained to diagnose and treat benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) - the most common vestibular disorder, causing a false sensation of spinning. It's often triggered by sudden head movements, like rolling over in bed, but can also result from car accidents, falls, or sports collisions.

What Causes BPPV?

BPPV occurs when tiny calcium crystals in the inner ear become dislodged and migrate into the fluid-filled semicircular canals, disrupting normal signals about head motion. This sends false spinning signals to the brain.

The good news: research shows 90% of patients see their symptoms resolve with just 1–3 treatments from a trained healthcare provider.
